I enjoy working in various media because paintings, sculptures, and drawings all exude different energy. I often attach my feelings to imagery, texture, and color. Some of the themes and motifs in my work are white cotton, black hands, pink horizons, copper pennies, and golden patinas. My work is not intended to project feelings upon the viewer, but instead strives to evoke questions from the viewer around why the work was created and different meanings behind symbols in the work. I don't typically create art to be only decorative but to inspire the viewer to be curious and imaginative.
